Store Manager for Airport Retail Group, located at Vantaa Airport / Helsinki

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to lead and develop the team as a Store Manager for Airport Retail Group, located at Vantaa Airport /Helsinki.

THE POSITION

As a store Manager you are responsible for the financial follow-up of budgets in relation to the goods, operational materials, and personnel for which they are responsible.
The role includes administrative tasks, but it is expected that the Store Manager will spend approximately 80% of their time in the store and 20% in the back office. Further on being a role model for the corporate culture and monitor quality and service in line with the company standard. A commercial sense and a passion for fashion are essential.

 

TASKS

•Uphold ÆRA as a product externally concerning service, quality/profile, merchandising, and concept.

•Follow sales targets, monitor sales statistics and support the implementation of activities to optimize revenue.

•Evaluate the product package quarterly and provide input on local trends and brand mix changes.

•Ensure that the team delivers top-notch customer service and conduct employee appraisals.

•Strengthen the corporate culture by providing daily feedback and coaching the team to do the same.

•Inform about and ensure compliance with relevant internal and external laws and regulations.

•Monthly closures, payroll, inventory, and reporting.

•Prepare shift schedules and ensure optimal staffing.

•Establish and maintain daily routines.

•Check and approve deliveries and ensure correct inventory flow in daily operational tasks.

•Monitor quality, inventory flow, and service in line with the company’s standards.

•Establish and continuously follow up on the store's results/goal achievement and guide the team in sales-promoting measures, including merchandising in collaboration with the central Visual Manager.

•Recruit the best employees and ensure onboarding and training. Contribute to and further develop the culture and staff. 

YOUR PROFILE

•You are open-minded and interested in interacting with our visitors and customers

•Preferably, you have experience in fashion retail from a similar position

•You are engaged in taking charge of the daily management of a store

•Proficiency in various digital tools

•Strong interpersonal skills

•Highly service-minded

•Good verbal and written communication skills 

EDUCATION
Relevant education including retail, economics, and management.
Any lack of formal education can be compensated with relevant experience.
